woah. what a hectic friday.
(Part 2)
(updated: 2nd March 07)
yeah, i know, it's already March. but i can't leave my story hanging.
so i might as well continue. just a short one.
well, actually it was nothing lar.
just that amylia and i waited like 35 mins for the cab.
and in the end we took the bus. which took us only half an hour.
we were late for 65mins. our teacher looked ready to skin us alive.
but after presenting, she was in a rather cheery mood
and said she would never minus marks for students.
thank our lucky stars!
otherwise our group members would kill us.
even though it's rather commonsensical, i still have to write it down below.
yeah, everyone knows that, but when people are in a frenzy, they can't think well.
so,
MORAL OF STORY:
NEVER ATTEMPT TO WAIT FOR TAXIS WHEN YOU'RE IN A HURRY.
BECAUSE WHEN YOU REALLY NEED THEM, THEY'RE NEVER AROUND.
(Part I)
yesterday, i was supposed to wake up at 6 as i had IAC project presentation at 8am.
supposed to. you probably already guessed what happened.
that morning, in my sleep,
i wondered groggily why i was having such a great Zzz.
"how come my 4 hours seem so long harh?"
my phone rang and jolted me from LaLa-Land back onto earth.
i looked at my phone and immediately noticed three unbelievable things:
1) fizah is calling
2) i did not wake up at 6, and
3) IT'S 7:40 AM!!!! oh.my.freaking.god.
i blinked my eyes hard several times as i looked at the time.
but it's still 7:40.
no wonder it was so terribly nice to sleep.
i wanted to drive my head into the wall.
i had no inkling what happened between me and my alarm earlier that morning.
everything was blurry. maybe i hit the "turn off" button without realising it.
i didn't even hear my mom go out at 6:30. i think i was totally knocked out.
blame myself for sleeping late; was doing management project till 2.
i picked up the phone and went "OMGOMGOMG!"
then fizah said that amylia just woke up not long ago too.
then i smsed her and asked if she wanna share a cab or something.
**Part II for later - i must get ready to go out for char's bdae dinner now.
