As 2008 is soon drawing to a close...let's celebrate with a last post for 2008 to wrap everything up before we usher in the new year!!
.......WHO AM I KIDDING LOL it's already january 1st! Late at night somemore. But wasnt home to blog yesterday, so had to resort to this =X haha. By the time i finish this, it would've been 2nd jan liao =S
Alright so here are 25 interesting things for 2008 which i didnt blog about.
#1) 29/1/08 - Animal carnival @ atrium
The biggest event i've ever helped organised. Lots of thanks to that dark smelly thinning-haired estates man with a vulgar-sounding name for causing sooo much trouble for us. May he find the strength to torture even more students in 2009.
#2) 17/2/08 - Umbrella vending machine
I will always remember my amusement and fascination the first time i ever saw one of these machines. Lol. With these machines, you wont have to squeeze under the same umbrella as rihanna again.
#3) 29/2/08 - Very poked party
Singtel's very poked (and very boring) party at zouk. Accompanied brudder there cos she had to help singtel do a write-up on the event. Partying's not my cup of tea thankyouverymuch. Lol.
#4) Gay spotted on lrt (twice)
Yes. I saw the same one. Twice. FYI he's the first guy from the right. The one with the bag and pressing himself weirdly against the door with his butt swung to the left. He attracted quite a bit of attention from the passengers. (No offence here; i have nothing against gays.)
#5) March - Pretty cat
I swear this is the most beautiful and mesmerizing cat i've ever seen in my entire life. Spotted below my flat. It exuded such exquisite elegance that it left me spell-bound.
#6) My favourite - Gelare's ice-cream waffle!
I looove their waffle with the cookies n cream ice-cream! YUM =D
#7) 15/4/08 - Kcc recruitment drive'08
A very much more comfortable cca recruitment drive in the convention centre as compared to the last.
#7) 2/5/08 - The day i loved the sky
Cos the sky was super pretty that morning as i was going to school. It was a deep rich beautiful blue. When you look up at it, it makes you real happy.
#8) May - Evergreen project
The days joanne and i spent doing the very boring field study for our project. Heng i've got her for company!
#9) 1/6/08 - The click five modern minds and great times world tour (s'pore)
Awesome sound, awesome concert! Thanks to brudder for the ticket :)
#10) 11/7/08 - Lights chio-er than those in orchard
And it's in bt panjang! In conjunction with national day celebrations.
#11) 12/7/08 - Cute baby!
At char's house during an rv girls gathering.
#12) 30/7/08 - Yakun for crm project
Another field study. For crm project. The other 3 shops for the project are toast box, m)phosis and hypnose.
#13) 28/8/08 - Working for comex IT fair
The booth. We sold telephones for home and office use.
#14) 31/8/08 - Super cool display
Panasonic toughbook's display at the comex fair. Super cool. The notebook was continuously showered with water while it played videos. UBER COOOOL.
#15) Nicest teh tarik
.... and the award goes to.......mr teh tarik at chinasquare central!
#16) Cutest neighbourhood dog
Super duper cute! It's a shih tzu, like char's dog. I've seen it twice already; apparently the owner just lets it run around freely (without supervision) in the morning. Cos i didnt see the owner anywhere in the vicinity =/
#17) 1/12/08 - Longest stairs down
One day after work at the new office, two-thirds (*sobs*) of the meows decided to explore a new route...and we ended up at the top of a series of stairs leading all the way down. We couldnt even see the bottom. Near plaza sing.
#18) 12/12/08 - Big-scale ge tai
Near my house. Very big-scale. One bespectacled guy sing quite zai...but i cant rmb the name.
#19) 15/12/08 - Second kcc camp
Preparation for the night walk at blk 50 i think. Masterpiece of boon ym jeff.
#20) 16/12/08 - Pink guitars spotted
Looks like instruments which the cheetah girls would use.
#21) 16/12/08 - The big bird (chicken rice restaurant)
Near our workplace. Serves super awesome chicken rice. This is just one small portion of the wall outside the restaurant. The brown things you see......are real feathers. The whole wall is covered with them. And the wall is not small hor. Imagine my astonishment and utter fascination when i saw that =O
#22) 18/12/08 - Barney, live in action
Yes, the purple dinosaur. Live. At bp plaza. Dancing and belting out songs for the xmas season. So cool can! Gives you a warm fuzzy feeling mixed with childhood nostalgia.
#23) 23/12/08 - Star spotted
Christopher lee was queueing in front of us for the atm. (the girl blocking the view is a stranger.)
#24) 24/12/08 - Xmas goodies from colleagues
We were so guilty cos we didnt get anything for them. We didnt expect them to give us anything either =X
#25) 26/12/08 - Meowchain from mon mon
Thanks to mon mon for the meowchain and tako balls ^^ she is super sweet! Even though the ninja meows are separated, the meow spirit will always linger on :)
So there you go. 25 more things for me to remember for 2008. Looking at these made me realise how much has happened in 2008. Of course there are loads of other things too lar but i am already very long-winded. These shall suffice for now. Anyway it's already 2nd jan liao lor =.= it's 12.53am lol.
